Victorian amethyst and pearl pendant set in 15ct gold; this is a pretty and delicate pendant formed of a royal purple amethyst weighing 1ct (approximately) bezel set with millegrain edges. It sits below a “knife blade” set with 3 pearls and a pearl set motif. The pendant is fixed to a gold chain which closes with a bolt ring. Weight: 2.1gm, length of pendant: 2.50cm/1″, length of chain: 42cm/17″. Stamped with a (faded) 15ct mark and tested as 15ct gold. The pendant is in very good condition and dates from around 1880 – 1900.
